Cell Culture Core

Our cell culture core is located in lab spaces on the 3rd and 4th floor of the Life Science Building. Both labs are fully equipped with BSL2 cabinets (certified yearly), large waterbaths, centrifuges, automated cell counter(s), and incubators. Access to independent storage space, and access to refrigerators/freezers (-20 and -80), are available.

Biohazardous and aspirator waste is taken care of by core staff.

Featured equipment in these cores include the Lonza 4D Nucleofector/Electroporation and automated cell counting equipment.
